You could look at having a TV that pops in and out from the rooftop, for example, which could be valuable if you want a video demonstration of a certain recipe rather than following a cookbook.
Fred Wilson, who runs Morgante-Wilson Architects, commented: “Visitors to your kitchen should be comfortable and able to sit down, either at an island or breakfast table, and be able to talk with you while you work in the kitchen.”
